Discover Andorra
Between France and Spain, in the Pyrenees, is Andorra. The capital of the Principality of Andorra is Andorra la Velia, which for short is often called plain Andorra. The state includes only seven villages and the permanent residents of the country do not exceed 77.000. There is no airport in the Principality of Andorra, nor does it have a railway network. It has, however, an excellent road network.
Andorra is synonymous with nature as more than 90% of the country consists of mountains, forests, rivers, lakes and meadows. With more than 60 mountain trails, the visitors can travel throughout Andorra without even walking on tarmac!
Whatever season you go, it is always an ideal destination. In winter it is cold and snowy, perfect if you love snow and skiing. Summers are cool and you can enjoy nature and walks without sweating every ten steps. As for autumn and spring, they are certainly worth spending in the wild nature of Andorra!
